Our customer recently moved into a brand-new house, but it was built without an attic access from within the garage. They wanted the same European attic ladder installed in the garage as they have in the house, which is a premium Fakro unit. At Tuxedo Home Maintenance, we worked closely with the customer to determine their preferred orientation for the ladder in its deployed position. We then proceeded with the garage attic ladder installation, cutting a hole in the ceiling and installing all necessary supporting structure. Additionally, we added some extra framing around the opening at the top to help contain insulation and provide a perch inside the attic.
