Living here in The Upstate, we’re all too familiar with the impact of our annual seasonal storms. 2024 threw out its fair share of challenges, with heavy rainfall and extreme winds causing widespread damage, similar to what our neighbors to the north in Asheville, NC experienced. Tuxedo Home Maintenance was called upon for a unique project when one of our clients experienced a slightly damaged picket fence due to a downed 80-foot oak tree. Our mission? Deliver Fence Restoration Services to restore the damaged fence to its original shape.

Our team pooled their collective skills and resources to find special-order redwood French Gothic pickets, re-grade the uprooted tree area, and put the fence back in its original location. We made every effort to use as much of the original fence materials as possible, fabricating parts personally when necessary. When the dust settled, the new fence stood as a perfect image of the original, down to our personally fabricated items. As time moves on, the new additions will age seamlessly alongside the old, making it impossible to differentiate between the two.
